What is How to Fish?
How to Fish is a physics-based fishing simulator for one to four players by the two-person Swedish studio Dazed Games. You crash your boat into a small island while drinking and have to fish, fight and trade your way home across six islands, each with its own fish, shop and boss.
It launched on Steam on 20 August 2026 for $7.99, passed one million players in its first two days and holds a 95% positive rating from more than 17,000 reviews. A Thunderstore modding community opened the day after launch and already lists over 160 mods, from quality-of-life fixes to bigger lobbies and custom islands.
